A new Football Season is upon us and the Carolina Panthers are ready to ROAR! 
Watch them up close and personal! The Carolina Panthers have been impressing our fans in Charlotte North Carolina year after year. They began in the mid 90's and began as one of the expansion teams.  Our Charlotte fan base continues to grow every year. The Carolina Panthers' call the Bank of America stadium home. The stadium is a stunning sight as you enter uptown Charlotte! The Panthers' are struggling mid season 2006 but the Panthers are better under pressure and will make the play-offs for 2006. The players are all healthy again and now just need to get into the rhythm for the season. They are full of surprises and be prepared to be impressed!
Charlotte is NASCAR Country! 
Let's talk about Charlotte racing! Welcome to NASCAR country! Take a drive on Dale Earnhart Blvd! Visit any of our famous race teams. There are a multitude of shops and museums throughout the area, especially in Mooresville (just north of Charlotte).  Lowes Motor Speedway is located in Concord NC and is a thrill beyond compare. Lowes Motor Speedway is utilized for racing and events for 300 days a year! This is every race fan's dream. How about a dirt track? The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway is located across Highway 29 from the speedway. The stadium-style facility hosts many events including the Dirt Late Model, Modifieds, Sprint Cars, Monster Truck and more.  There is actually a fantastic mall, the Concord Mills Mall, less than 1 mile away from Lowes Motor Speedway. The mall even has a miniature NASCAR go-cart track inside the mall! Yes, an indoor track at the mall! I am not a mall fan but I truly enjoyed the Mall tried my luck on the track!
Charlotte Baseball anyone? The Charlotte Knights is our local AAA team for the Chicago White Sox. The Knights play a short 12 miles from uptown Charlotte in Fort Mill SC. This provides fantastic entertainment where you can actually afford to take the kids and truly enjoy the game!
According to the Knights' Pressbox: Charlotte Center City Partners have put forth an ambitious plan that would not only return baseball to the Center City but would place a county controlled park touching Tryon St. and would return residential units to the Second Ward. Just another exciting change for Charlotte and our ever expanding future! How about some Hockey! Yes, we also have Hockey in sunny Charlotte. You have  to go see  the Charlotte Checkers play! The Checkers are in the ECHL and each game is guaranteed excitement! The Checkers play in the Charlotte Bobcat arena and the tickets provide for an affordable night of entertainment!  Is Basketball more your sport? We have two great teams in Charlotte!  We have the Charlotte Bobcats and even a WNBA team with the Charlotte Sting! A great variety in basketball. Both play in the fantastic new Bobcat Arena in Uptown Charlotte! Come and feel the excitement of the only sport that you can actually be right there next to the court as they play.
