Hunter Oaks Homes:  The Hunter Oaks subdivision began in the mid 1990's and continued through the mid 2000's.   It began as a rural subdivision but time have changed!  There are a variety of builders that constructed homes within Hunt Oaks including Ryland, Shea, Parker Lancaster (now Orleans), St Lawrence Homes and Lillian Floyd (now Turnberry).  The homes range in size from 2500 to 5000 square feet.  The lots range from .25 to just over .5 acres.  

Neighborhood:  The neighborhood of Hunter Oaks is on both sides of Rea Road.  It is a large community with multiple entrances, treed streets, winding roads and side walks.

Location:  Hunter Oaks is located south of Ballantyne and South Charlotte in Union County.  From I-77, take I485 towards Pineville.  Take the Rea Road exit south.  You will note Stonecrest at Piper Glen on your right.  Two miles further on Rea Road is the Blakeney Shopping Center and Hunters Oak is on both your left and right of Rea Rd about 2 miles south past Blakeney.

Property Taxes:  Hunter Oaks is currently not incorporated so your property taxes are only Union County Property taxes.  Low taxes, close to Ballantyne/South Charlotte and great Union County Schools.

Schools:  Hunter Oaks is within the Marvin Ridge School district of Union County.  This is Rea View Elementary, Marvin Ridge Middle and Marvin Ridge High School.  These are top performing schools and will exceed your expectations!

Amenities:  Hunter Oaks has multiple areas of recreation.  There are a few pools, tennis courts, play grounds, beach volley ball courts and picnic areas.
