When relocating to a new city, there are many important things to consider.  One very important feature is the proximity to a Hospital.  Here are links to current Charlotte hospitals. Yes, there are new hospitals being planned.  One new hospital will be built in Fort Mill.  The new hospital will be build on highway 160 by the Peachtree Stand (a nice little general store).  If you need additional information, please let me know. 

Your will be very pleased with Charlotte medical facilities.  As our population continues to explode, so does the demand for quality health care.  Fortunately, many Health Care Professionals are also relocating to Charlotte North Carolina!  There are many Carolina hospitals in the area and the number is growing.  Here is a very brief view of a portion of our superior Charlotte medical facilities.  First, let us begin with Carolina Medical Center.  This one of our largest hospitals in the region.  Carolina Medical has merged with Mercy Hospitals and now operates both the combined resources. 

In addition to the Carolina Medical Hospitals, there are several Presbyterian hospitals in our area.  In 2004, Presbyterian Health care introduced Presbyterian-Huntersville, which provides health care for northern Mecklenburg. The hospital is conveniently located off of I-77 on Gilead Rd.  This hospital provides an emergency department, five operating rooms, three endoscopy rooms, four intensive care unit beds, eight labor and delivery beds, 35 medical/surgical beds, 10 observation beds and a medical office building.

There are multiple Presbyterian Hospitals throughout our area.  Additional locations are in Matthews NC,  Huntersville NC and Charlotte NC.  There is also a Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte.
