What makes Emerald Lake unique?  The neighborhood has soft winding roads with full brick homes.  More importantly are the variety of builders.  There were several builders within this community which provides a nice mixture of homes.  All of the homes have a side load garage!  The vast majority of the homes are 2900 square feet to about 3900 square feet.  The lots range from about 1/3 of an acre to about 1/2 an acre.  This provides a nice balance between a nice sized yard without too much yard for maintenance.  The homes were constructed from 1997 to 2005.  This provides a mature neighborhood with a lot of character.

Location:  Emerald Lake is located off of the I-485 at exit 47 for Lawyers Rd.   Travel east (turn right if coming from I-77).  Emerald Lake is on the left.

Schools:  Emerald Lake Residents attend Fairview Elementary School, Piedmont Middle School and Piedmont High School.  These are great Union County Schools!

Property Taxes:  The property taxes are about .71% of the assessed values.  This is about half the property taxes of Charlotte Real Estate.  A little more remote than Charlotte but your tax basis is lower.
